DACG Awarded School Replacement Project by Lake County Schools
Construction Management at Risk Services for the Fruitland Park Elementary School Replacement Project
Altamonte Springs, FL. May 15, 2023. DACG, Inc. is proud to announce being appointed the Construction Management at Risk Services provider for Lake County Schools’ Fruitland Park Elementary School replacement project. Our team is eager to support Fruitland Park’s mission“to provide every student with a safe learning environment and individual opportunities to excel so they are prepared for the next grade level” through the construction of this new, multi-story elementary school campus.
The new Fruitland Park Elementary School will be built on a green 19-acre site to provide improved facilities for PK–5th grade educational programs with approximately 940 student stations. The design concept includes buildings housing administrative, media center, kitchen/dining, classrooms, skills/science labs, art, music, and exceptional education. Site improvements include parking areas, parent loop, bus loop, exterior walkways and canopies, site lighting, site signage, underground utilities, storm water retention, landscaping, and irrigation. All students will transfer to the new Fruitland Park Elementary School campus when it opens within the 2024-25 school year.
This $31 million dollar project will provide a multitude of construction job opportunities for the Lake County community. DACG commits to investing 50% of the project budget in the Fruitland Park and Lake County communities. The team will also offer community updates, student activities, and support for stakeholders beyond the construction site.
